I've been reading The Casual Vacancy on my Kindle.
I'm reading it slowly...a chapter a day. That's what I usually do with Kindle books. I'm still not in love with the whole electronic book thing.
Anyway....
Today I read the chapter with Samantha and Mile's dinner party.
As I reached the end, my iTunes DJ played "Mad World".

I thought the song fit very well.
I think the book is fantastic....beautifully written and painfully honest.
It's one of those books though that are depressing because it's filled with pitiful and hopeless people.
It's so different from Harry Potter.
I can't help but wish that Molly Weasley would appear. She could wave her wand around....fix Samantha's bra situation and the ruined casserole.
It would be nice if Sukhvinder Jawanda got an owl with an invitation to Hogwarts.
